Hilly – dumped at the village landfill

While taking trash to the village dump, we heard a faint meowing… coming from a pile of garbage… A handful of kittens in a plastic bag, dirty, skin and bones… Mew… mew… so quiet… Quick — bring them to warmth, clean them up, food — yes! She’s eating, thank God…
Very fearful for the first few months, but now a totally balanced, proud lady. It’s beautiful to see how neglected creatures can bloom.
